Frozen avocado mango no sugar added protein nice cream!
It’s low carb (23.4 g), high fat (23.8 g), high protein (28.2 g). It’s definitely enough for 2 at least. So you can half those numbers above if you’re sharing.
I came up with this randomly because I was craving something cooling, needed some healthy fats but didn’t feel like something sweet. This one is a great heart healthy recipe thanks to the Omega 3’s from the avocados in this recipe (Eating two servings of avocado each week (one avocado) can cut the risk of developing coronary heart disease by 21 per cent, according to research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association) and the sneaky addition of a dark, leafy green - I bet you you won’t be able to taste the Kale in this one at all!
You’ll need:
1 cup frozen avocado chunks
1/2 Cup frozen mango
cup of kale
scoop of vanilla protein powder, I used genuine health @genuinehealth
1.5 cup of unsweetened vanilla cashew milk
Blend it all up in a high power blender.
